Stretchforming - Extrusion
Contract Manufacturing

Sample Parts

The forming department has the ability to undertake and solve forming of the most exotic cross sections in a variety of types of materials. Extrusions and brake formed parts are stretchformed beyond their yield points while maintaining near machining tolerance accuracy.

A competitor of roll bending, stretchforming provides more consistent and accurate parts. It relies on forming while under stretch (work hardened) and permits a part to better hold its shape and remain wrinkle free. Other advantages are reductions of scrap, costly welds, assembly costs, elimination of hand reworking operations and improved physical properties.
